Windswept hair – again
3WIS has renewed their acquaintance with a good friend. The company has again stepped in as a supplier in the wind industry.

The wind industry is an old acquaintance
In 3WIS’ new setup, it is the first time the company has entered this segment, yet it is far from unknown to the wind industry and its many exciting challenges. Internally in 3WIS, a lot of experience at both organizational and practical level is carried into the task – a task that Director Kim Jacobsen is happy with:
“In a previous set-up we have worked a lot in the wind industry, where our manpower department supplied welders for a number of British projects. But this time we have been working with our customer at a much earlier stage. Here, as we have gained experience in the industry, we have been able to contribute to a good preparation and start-up phase for our customer, and of course we are very happy to do so.”

The specialists are going to the field
3WIS continues to operate as a supplier of skilled and specialized welders. In the start-up, the focus has been on the German, English and Swedish wind markets. And regardless of nationality, the requirements of the wind industry are similar – because in addition to the usual requirements for GWO training, HUET, etc., there are still high demands on the individual’s competences.
We don’t hang upside down and weld – but I think that’s almost the only thing we don’t do. So it really is a task that places great demands on our welders. Although the wind industry is very rigorous in terms of the QHSE, it is always the case that each task is entirely its own. And it suits our type of employees very well that they should be able to problem-solve onsite with their specialist skills, but at the same time they must understand that it has to happen within a certain framework,” says a satisfied director and quits, “and it seems that we are hitting right, because the first feedback from our customers has also been positive ift. The welding quality. It means a lot to us that we can deliver at a level that makes our customers happy.
