3WIS tests digital welding documentation

For some time, 3WIS has been a testing company for Worksystem’s bid for a digital solution for welding documentation.

An exciting process

At 3WIS, we have tested, and continue to test, all parts of the system and user interface in practice. A test that it has been very rewarding and exciting for us as a company to be a part of. We have chosen to test on a large project within building steel to standard EN 1090-2 EXC2, which is in progress in our workshop. We have done this to produce a good amount of data for Worksystems, but also to test whether this system could really contribute positively to our operation of complicated projects with welding management and higher documentation requirements.

Supports certified processes

We have been pleased to provide a lot of input for improving and optimizing the WELD system, and we look forward to continued good cooperation with Worksystems. Because we have decided at 3W IndustriService to keep the system going forward. We are pleased with the system as a whole and the overview it provides in our project execution. At the same time, it is important to us that we support our ISO 3834-2 and EN 1090-2 EXC4 certifications. This ensures that we can continue to offer our customers welding management and welding documentation at a high

level. The goal has been for 3WIS to test the functionality of workflows from administration and office all the way to the workshop and to the finished final documentation to be handed over to the customer. This includes the digitisation of all workflows for, among others, welding coordinator, welders and NDT operators.
