Approval for production of food contact materials
At 3WIS, we are very pleased to report that we have just received our approval from the Danish Food Authority under the Ministry of Environment and Food.
3WIS is approved for welding and manufacturing equipment with food contact (FKM), wholesale under industry code EB.20.16.99.
We are very much looking forward to combining our specialty in complicated and documentation-heavy pipe constructions, steel solutions and certificate welding with a new work area. And based on the feedback from the Danish Food Authority‘s consultant, we are more than ready to solve this type of tasks. Our documented welding processes are already well worked out and well documented. And this was a big factor in our approval. We are already working with full documentation for all procurement and use as well as subsequent documentation design – now also within EU1935/2004 as well as EU2023/2004.
And of course we back our food approval with our ISO 9001, ISO 3834-2 and EN1090-1 EXC4 certifications, on the tasks where the customer needs it. We look forward to also providing high quality and documented processes to our new customers in the food industry.
